Booking Policy

Advance Booking:

All taxi bookings must be made at least 10 hours before the scheduled trip start time.

Bookings Confirmed:

For confirmed bookings, customers are required to pay an advance amount during the booking process. This amount is calculated based on the estimated total trip cost and will be adjusted against the final bill at the end of the journey.

Booking Request Without Payment:

We not accept booking without advance payment.

Car & Driver Assignment:

For every confirmed booking, a vehicle will be assigned at least 4 hours before the trip start time. Once assigned, the customer will receive an SMS or whatsapp confirmation with the car and driver details.

Booking Voucher:

Customers are requested to carry a printout or digital copy of the booking voucher during their trip for verification and smooth coordination.

Taxi Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Non-Refundable Period

For all bookings made between 25th December and 7th January, the advance amount is strictly non-refundable, irrespective of the cancellation time or reason.

2. How to Cancel a Booking

All cancellation requests must be submitted only by mode you have received confirmation. No verbal or telephonic cancellation will be considered valid.

4. Unreachable Contact Number

If the mobile number provided by the guest is switched off or not reachable at the time of pick-up, the booking will be considered a “No Show”, and no refund of the advance amount will be given.

5. Date Modification Policy

If you wish to change your pickup date, it can be modified without any penalty, except during 25th Dec to 7th Jan, when no modification is allowed. Once a booking has been modified, any subsequent cancellation will make the advance amount non-refundable.

6. Shortening the Trip

If the customer decides to reduce the number of days during the journey, the original quoted amount must still be paid in full.Example: If you booked a taxi for 5 days and decide to end the trip after 2 or 3 days, you must still pay for all 5 days as per the original quotation. 7. Extending the Trip If you wish to extend your journey, you will need to pay extra cab charges for the additional days. Extension requests will depend on vehicle availability at that time

8. Incorrect Cab Capacity Booking

If the guest books a cab with lower seating capacity and, upon pickup, it is found that the number of passengers exceeds the cab's capacity: The driver will not allow adjustment beyond the legal seating limit. The booking will be cancelled immediately, and the guest must book a higher-capacity cab (subject to availability). If the guest refuses the alternative cab, the advance amount will not be refunded or adjusted.

Refund Mode and Refund Duration
  • If you are eligible for refunds based on the "Taxi Cancellation and Refund Policy " above, then the refund will be remitted back to you in 5-7 working days. In case of any issues, writes to us at info@touristcab.in or call us at +91 9650-1499-79.
  • If your payment is made online through payment gateway then amount will refunded in same debit/credit card from which payment made.Refund will not be done in cash in any circumstance.
  • If your payment is made through NEFT then amount will refunded in same account from which payment received.Refund will not be done in cash in any circumstance.
  • If you do cash deposit then for getting refund you have to share your account no with NEFT Code. Refund will not be done in cash in any circumstance.
  • In case of accident/vehicle break-down the operator will try to provide an alternate vehicle or will refund the advance deposit (if any).
  • In the case of a no-show by the driver for a scheduled departure, the operator will try its best to provide an immediate replacement with a similar car and in case he is not able to find a replacement, a full refund of the advance will be done.
